Role
This position is responsible for leading and controlling daily production operations in insole manufacturing, ensuring absolute priority on people safety, stable product quality, on- time shipment, and effective cost management.
Roles & Responsibilities
SAFETY & PEOPLE – TOP PRIORITY (NON- NEGOTIABLE)
Responsibilities
• Ensure all production activities, machines, molds, and materials (EVA/PU/chemicals) are operated under approved risk assessments and SOPs.
• Lead and enforce factory- wide compliance with local EHS regulations, and customer safety requirements.
• Manage production manpower: shift organization, discipline, skills development, performance coaching, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with Vietnam Labor Law, working hours, overtime control, and fair treatment.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, unsafe act/condition reporting, and corrective actions.
• Build a strong safety culture where supervisors and operators actively participate and speak up.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
• Ensure production processes comply with ISO 9001, customer specifications, and approved samples.
• Control critical processes & cooperate closely with QA/QC, Engineering, and Maintenance to prevent recurrence.
• Train production teams on quality awareness, defect prevention, and standard work.
ON- TIME DELIVERY (OTD)
• Control daily output vs. plan; take immediate action on delays.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Maintenance, QA, and Engineering to remove bottlenecks.
• Execute production plans aligned with customer orders, shipment schedules, and capacity.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools to improve flow, reduce waiting time, and stabilize lead time.
COST MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY
• Control production capacity, monitor and reduce material loss, scrap, over- consumption, and mold damage.
• Implement and sustain Lean, 5S, and Kaizen in production areas.
• Analyze cost variance and propose corrective actions to management.
• Drive cost- saving initiatives through Process optimization, Yield improvement.
