Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to lead and deliver complex software projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project execution, from initiation and planning to monitoring, controlling, and closure. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem- solving skills, as well as a solid understanding of software
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

Project Execution: Lead and manage project teams to execute project plans effectively.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.

Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and vendors. Provide regular project status updates.

Budget Management: Manage project budgets and track expenses.

Schedule Management: Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.

Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources effectively.

Quality Management: Ensure the quality of project deliverables.

Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the project team and with stakeholders.

Reporting: Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to project management processes.

Automotive/Industry Specific (Potential): Depending on the project, may involve understanding automotive development processes (e.g., SPICE, Agile in Automotive) and navigating industry- specific challenges. (Adjust based on project focus.)

Required Skills:

Project Management Methodologies: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban). PMP certification is a plus.

Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana).

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.

Problem- Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.

Risk Management: Experience in identifying and mitigating project risks.

Budget Management: Experience in managing project budgets.

Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing stakeholder expectations.

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Agile Certification: Scrum Master or other Agile certification.

Automotive Experience: Experience managing software development projects in the automotive industry.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of automotive technologies (e.g., connected car, autonomous driving, infotainment).

SPICE Knowledge: Familiarity with Automotive SPICE processes.

Technical Background: A technical background in software engineering is a plus.

Master’s Degree: Master’s degree in project management or a related field.

Experience with multiple project methodologies: Demonstrated ability to adapt project management approaches based on project needs.
