Role Overview
On a day- to- day basis, you will plan project timelines, track progress, coordinate stakeholders, resolve risks, and prepare updates for leadership and partners. You will balance hands- on execution with structured reporting and continuous improvement of project workflows.
The Project Manager’s primary goal is to ensure AI for Vietnam’s strategic projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.
You will work closely with the Country Director, internal cross- functional teams and external partners. The role is Hanoi- based, operating in a fast- paced, mission- driven, and globally collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project status, identify risks or blockers early, and implement mitigation plans. Prepare clear, structured updates and reports for the Country Director and relevant stakeholders.
Operational & Administrative Oversight: Manage administrative processes related to projects, ensuring smooth day- to- day operations. Continuously improve workflows, documentation, and execution efficiency.
Cross- functional Coordination: Coordinate work across internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on priorities, responsibilities, and timelines. Facilitate communication and decision- making across functions.
Project Planning & Execution: Own end- to- end project execution, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables. Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and ensure consistent progress across all initiatives.
Partnership & Stakeholder Support: Support partnership outreach and ongoing relationship management by coordinating deliverables, timelines, and follow- ups. Ensure partners are aligned with project goals and execution plans.
Qualifications
Strong ownership mindset; detail- oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in ambiguous, evolving environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English, with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non- technical audiences
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, including planning, prioritization, and risk management, in a fast- paced setting
Prior experience working in a technology company, startup, or product- focused environment
2- 4 years of experience in project, program, or operations management within a technology- driven organization, or equivalent hands- on experience
