JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager who can operate effectively in both consulting and pre- sales roles. This position will manage end- to- end project delivery while supporting pre- sales activities and nurturing existing customer accounts (farming) to expand long- term business opportunities.
Consulting & Pre- Sales:
Work with the sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Coordinate with technical teams to prepare proposals, solution decks, and supporting documentation.
Participate in client discussions to understand requirements and propose suitable technology solutions.
Present solutions clearly and convincingly to demonstrate the value SotaTek can deliver.
Project Management & Delivery:
Act as the main liaison between clients and delivery teams, resolving issues that arise during project execution.
Manage software implementation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and at the expected quality.
Monitor project progress, quality, and performance of internal teams (engineers, QA, etc.).
Customer Farming (Account Management):
Identify opportunities to expand current contracts and upsell additional services.
Build and maintain long- term relationships with existing clients.
Continuously gather client feedback and uncover new needs to strengthen satisfaction and loyalty.
Reporting & Analysis:
Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation plans to optimize delivery processes.
Track key project performance metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
Proven experience in account management and developing long- term customer relationships.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, technology consulting, or pre- sales in the IT industry.
Strong background in software development projects; experience in AI, Blockchain, or enterprise solutions is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
Strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Deep understanding of software development processes and modern technologies.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team- management capabilities.
Problem- solving mindset and ability to handle issues during project execution.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Others:
Proficiency in English; being able to communicate in Japanese or Korean is an advantage.
