Position Summary
The Senior Hospitality Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and execution of high- end hospitality projects, from concept design through costing, sampling, development, and production handover.
The position integrates organizational leadership with design management, cost engineering, sample development, and project management to ensure seamless delivery of complex custom hospitality furniture and fixtures.
This role ensures that design intent, cost targets, sample development, and project execution are aligned, delivering projects on time, on budget, and at the required quality level for international hospitality customers such as hotels, resorts, and luxury developers.
Key Responsibilities
1 Strategic Leadership

Establish department KPIs including project delivery, cost control, sample lead time, and customer satisfaction.
Lead the Hospitality division’s design development, project management, and sampling operations.
Align hospitality product development with company business strategy and operational capacity.
Department Operational Expense responsible.
Lead and ensure full onsite installation support for hospitality projects, coordinating all technical, operational, and stakeholder requirements through final site handover
Define and implement department strategies, systems, and processes supporting high- end hospitality project execution.

2 Hospitality Project Management

Oversee all hospitality projects from handover from Sales through production release, including handover to development tech and production tech department.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to customer specification.

Lead cross- functional coordination between:
Design / R&D
Engineering Technical
Sampling
QA/QC
Production
HOS Sales
Procurement

Approve project timelines, resource allocation, and execution plans.
Resolve technical, cost, and schedule challenges during project execution.

3 Design & Product Development

Oversee design development of hospitality furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories.

Ensure designs meet requirements for:
manufacturability
aesthetics
functionality
durability for hospitality environments.
cost targets

Work closely with internal designers, draftsmen, and external customers/designers/architects to refine concepts and specifications.

Ensure proper documentation including:

finish schedules
specifications
drawings
material lists
compliance

4 Costing & Value Engineering

Lead the costing strategy for hospitality projects, ensuring customer pricing remains competitive while protecting company margins.

Oversee preparation and validation of:

material costing
labor and manufacturing cost estimates

Approve project cost estimates before submission to sales or customers.
Implement value engineering solutions to optimize cost while maintaining design intent and quality.

5 Sampling & Prototype Development

Oversee development of samples, and prototypes required for customer approval.

Ensure sample development supports:

quality standards.
design validation
material and finish selection
manufacturability assessment

Approve final samples before release to customers or production.
Coordinate closely with the sample workshop and R&D team to ensure samples meet client expectations and deadlines.

6 Team Leadership & Development

Lead and develop teams including:
draftsmen
project managers
designers
sample coordinators.

Build a strong culture of technical excellence, customer focus, and collaboration.
Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability structures.
Conduct performance evaluations and coaching for management staff.

7 Customer & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the senior technical and project contact for key hospitality customers.
Participate in project kick- off meetings, design reviews, and major milestone discussions.
Ensure clear communication with customers regarding:
sample approval
project timelines
design development
technical requirements.

Maintain strong working relationships with Hos sales, designers, architects, contractors, and developers.

8 Process & Systems Development

Develop and implement standard processes for hospitality project execution, including:

production handover.
sample development
design development & tracking
project planning
costing procedures

Improve integration with ERP systems for project data, costing, and tracking.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Typical KPIs may include:

On- time project delivery
Project margin achievement
Customer satisfaction
Design development cycle time
Sample development lead time
Quality performance during project execution
Cost accuracy vs final production cost

Yêu cầu công việc

Experience

Minimum 8–12 years experience in hospitality furniture or contract manufacturing.
Strong experience with custom hospitality projects for hotels or large developments.
Minimum 5 years leadership experience managing design, project management, or product development teams.

Skills

Strong leadership and team management capability.

Deep understanding of:
hospitality furniture manufacturing
Experience with ERP systems and project management tools.
Ability to balance design quality, manufacturing feasibility, and cost control.
