Job Summary
Purchasing Specialist is responsible for executing daily procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost- effective acquisition of high- quality goods and services. This role focuses on vendor management, order processing, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support the hotel&039;s operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Process purchase requisitions and orders for various departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, etc.).
Ensure all procurement activities comply with hotel policies and procedures.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, terms, and quality.
Coordinate with warehouse and user departments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in managing supplier relationships and performance evaluations.
Yêu cầu công việc
Good knowledge of F&B products, cleaning supplies, and general hotel operating supplies.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Diploma or Bachelor&039;s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office (especially Excel).
