As a Purchasing Supervisor –You’ll be responsible for collecting samples and approved purchases for the hotel. Assist Manage and
control purchasing systems and procedures to continually improve the supply chain process, as well as ensure compliance internally
Duties and responsibilities
• To follow up with all department orders with suppliers and update accordingly.
• Fully in charge of the day to day purchases for assigned departments in the hotel.
• Responsible to negotiate with the suppliers best possible prices for goods to help keep the hotels expenditure to a minimum.
• Find the quotation and sample from different suppliers for Department to choose the most reasonable price and quality, obtains
competitive quotations and bids
• Dealing with Supplier in Warranty Term and Exchange Items
• Keeps abreast of the market place as to innovation and value
• Responsible in following with the Directorate of Customs keeping customs receipts, renewed and up- dated.
• Update tracking for delivery status of non- food and beverage items on weekly basic
• Negotiate and discuss new contract with department and supplier, ensuring compliance with company and corporation policies
• Assist Purchasing Manager in Identifying and developing reliable sources of supply
• To purchase urgent items required from other countries when not available locally.
• Clears imported goods from the airport as and when required.
• Assist Purchasing Manager to ensure procurement process is applied correctly and efficiently.
• Assist Purchasing Manager in establishing standard purchasing specifications as well as purchasing policy
• Establishes adequate record keeping and issuance procedures
• Processes purchase requests from departments
• Working with Receiving Staff for closing out of date PO on system
and procedures.
• Follow closely and improve the purchasing process in the service segment
• Assist Purchasing Manager in compliance standard purchasing specifications and Purchasing Policy
• Performs any additional duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager
• Place approved orders
• Ensure market surveys are conducted and completed in coordination with the Executive Chef, F&B Manager and Accountant
Yêu cầu công việc
Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work- related experience
Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Purchasing Management or related field
Good writing skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
