QA Automation Lead

Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance test script generation, improve test selection, identify patterns in defects, and optimize execution efficiency.
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of test automation frameworks and strategies across web, mobile, and API platforms.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure test reliability across environments.
Own weekly planning and report progress, risks, and quality metrics to the QA Manager to maintain transparency and alignment.
Champion continuous improvement in testing processes, tooling, and team collaboration.
Stay current on testing trends and recommend modern tools, especially AI- powered platforms (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Applitools), to accelerate test delivery.
Troubleshoot test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and mentor team members on technical challenges.
Review and approve test scripts developed by the team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Collaborate closely with manual QA engineers to align test coverage, share knowledge, and ensure smooth test execution for feature releases.

Good English communication (reading/writing/speaking)
Proficient in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, with solid knowledge of OOP and test design principles.
Strong hands- on experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies for both automated and manual testing.
Excellent communication skills and experience working cross- functionally with manual testers, developers, and product teams.
Demonstrated experience integrating automated tests into modern CI/CD workflows.
Comfortable reporting testing progress and risks to the QA manager regularly.
5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test automation leadership role.
Proven track record of applying AI or machine learning to testing processes, whether through commercial platforms or custom solutions.
Familiarity with testing frameworks like TestNG, Mocha, Chai, and experience working with Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
Nice to have:
Experience in performance testing, accessibility testing, or security testing.
Background in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with sprint rituals and QA involvement.
Contributions to open- source testing tools or participation in testing communities.
