Responsibilities and Duties:
Quality Control & Testing Execution
Execute manual testing for mobile apps (iOS/Android), web portals, and backend systems.
Ensure platform behavior aligns with business requirements, product specifications, and operational rules.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing for new features and releases.
Release Validation & Quality Gatekeeping
Act as a quality gate to prevent critical defects from reaching production.
Identify and assess risks related to service disruption, fulfillment failure, or user experience degradation.
Verify that features meet release criteria before production deployment.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business and operations teams.
Bug Management & Reporting
Provide clear, reproducible bug reports with expected vs. actual results.
Collaborate with engineers to clarify defect root causes when needed.
Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or equivalent.
Re- test fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issue resolution.
Cross- Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Support teams to verify that features function correctly in real- world O2O scenarios.
Validate platform behavior across different service categories, cities, and peak/off- peak timeframes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Must have
Strong analytical skills with the ability to think in real- user scenarios;
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a QC Engineer/Software Tester;
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineer/Information Technology or IT- related major;
Hands- on experience testing mobile applications and APIs;
Solid understanding of software testing principles and the defect lifecycle;
Clear communicator with both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, or similar;
Detail- oriented with a strong sense of ownership over product quality;
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast- paced product environment;
Nice to have
Understanding of matching logic, scheduling, payments, and promotions;
Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Experience with O2O, marketplace, or on- demand service platforms;
