POSITION OVERVIEW
This role primarily involves refurbishing used machines returned by customers, as well as providing onsite service at customer locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Do refurbishment by replace broken or end of life parts, reset parameter, format HDD, erase customers on machine, check and adjust to have best print quality, clean machine, upgrade firmware, wrapping and keep it in warehouse for selling/lending
• Cannibalize part and send to CSE when there is a requirement
• Update machine status on system, update new machine information with cost, part replaced, picture taken from machine
• Weekly/monthly report machine status to manager/ another team
• Cannibalize disposal machine
• Monthly report to EMS team about used part
• Minimize part usage as much as possible to reduce refurbishing cost
• Checks used machine return from customer and propose if it can be used for refurbishment or not
• Task onsite support in case lack of CSE
