Refurbishment Technician (Copier/Printer Support)

POSITION OVERVIEW
This role primarily involves refurbishing used machines returned by customers, as well as providing onsite service at customer locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Weekly/monthly report machine status to manager/ another team
Cannibalize part and send to CSE when there is a requirement
Do refurbishment by replace broken or end of life parts, reset parameter, format HDD, erase customers on machine, check and adjust to have best print quality, clean machine, upgrade firmware, wrapping and keep it in warehouse for selling/lending
Cannibalize disposal machine
Checks used machine return from customer and propose if it can be used for refurbishment or not
Update machine status on system, update new machine information with cost, part replaced, picture taken from machine
Minimize part usage as much as possible to reduce refurbishing cost
Monthly report to EMS team about used part
Task onsite support in case lack of CSE

Intermediate or college degree in electrical or electronic engineering or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, specifically involving technical support for copiers and printers.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Strong sense of responsibility.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Detail- oriented and tidy.
