• If there are failed reservations to update the system, then process those reservations manually.
• Assists and prepare in groups pre- arrival process and also preparing group rooming lists.
• Helps develop room revenue and occupancy forecasts.
• Understand and enforce resort credit policies and ensure proper billing instructions, routing instructions and payment methods are applied to the reservations.
• Update No- shows and cancellations on all OTA&039;s without fail to avoid and unwanted commissions.
• Keep track Tentative / Provisional / Waitlisted bookings entered on the system and follow up done for deposits / guarantee.
• Process no- show and cancellations as per the hotel policy and procedures.
• Knows the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• To be ready and responsible to perform any other duties as designed or required by RSVM/RES Supervisor/GM/RM.
• Follow the checklist and submit to reservations supervisor on daily basic.
• Communicates reservation information to the front desk if needed.
• Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout.
• Handles any request for amenities or transportation promptly and accurately. Details are shared with the concerned department or third party accurately.
• All reservation modifications are updated on system immediately and accurately in case of any changes.
• Track all reservations picked up from all On- line channels like hotel website, OTA, GDS, other third party etc.
• Responds to all guest reservation requests and executes prompt, courteous and accurate guest service at all times.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk.
• Processes reservations by mail, telephone, online channels ..
• Understands the resort&039;s policy on guaranteed reservations and no- shows.
• Receive contracts detailing room allotments and creates allotments on system.
• Fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities and services.
• Verify if each reservation requests are processed as per the hotel standards and without delay.
• Records and files all reservation correspondence neatly and accurately on prescribed forms or folders.
• Processes reservations from the sales office, other departments, and travel agents.
• Handles the reservation correspondence accurately and neatly and follow up for any missing correspondence before guest arrival.
Yêu cầu công việc
• At least 1 – 2 years’ experience or work – related experience
• Good communication in English
• Graduate from college/university hospitality or related field preferred.
