RETAIL MANAGER (BEAUTY PRODUCTS)

Responsibilities:
*Retail Sales Development
• Develop sales and manage sales performance by store to reach the target
• Communicate competition’s marketing activity to management
• Compile monthly sales report to management (commercial lines including new launches)
• Co- ordinate with Sales- In team to ensure efficient order taking and processing stocks to ensure optimum inventory at store
*Management of salesforce:
• Co- operate with training team to ensure beauty advisors attend the mandatory training courses
• Improve beauty advisor productivity and ensure development of beauty advisors through regular coaching sessions and counter visits
• Recruit the best qualified counter managers and beauty advisors
• Initiate and execute local incentive programs
• Ensure that beauty advisor follow the art of selling and express Brand values through customer service
• Propose and work closely with Sales Manager with regards to manpower allocation by store
• Plan and control expense budget pertaining to retail activities (transportation, atrium miscellaneous expenses etc)
• Conduct yearly appraisals
• Ensure sufficient manpower coverage at assigned counters
• Motivate, evaluate and retain a dynamic sales team and build team spirit
• Propose and work closely with Sales Manager on beauty advisor development plan to increase knowledge and skills
*Brand/Image & Merchandising Execution:
• Enhance Brand Image through visual, merchandising, beauty advisor grooming and POS activities
• Enforce strict and regular control of POS Merchandising, decoration and operating conditions up to standards and following central guidelines
*Promotion/Animation management:
• Ensure sufficient manpower coverage at each event/ animation
• Ensure preparation prior to the event/ animation and compile the feedback report after each event
• Supervise and execute the promotional activities formulated by Marketing department
*Mystery shopper survey:
• Ensure close follow up on action plans in order to improve indicators of assigned counters
