The Sales Manager – Dealer Channel is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies through the nationwide dealer network to achieve revenue, volume, and market share targets. The role also oversees dealer relationship management, team supervision, and market development in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Position Summary
Sales Strategy & Planning
Key Responsibilities
• Establish targets, KPIs, and coordination processes with related departments.
• Propose sales policies, discount schemes, and incentive programs aligned with company objectives.
• Develop and execute sales, volume, and market share plans through dealer channels.
Dealer Management
• Assign sales targets and territories to dealer sales teams.
• Support senior management in evaluating dealer effectiveness and implementing improvement actions.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing dealers to enhance loyalty and performance.
• Supervise dealer sales activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Develop and expand the dealer network; identify and onboard new dealers.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead and supervise the dealer sales team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide training and coaching on product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service.
• Support management in deploying and monitoring sales initiatives and programs.
Market Analysis & Business Development
• Collect market and competitor data; analyze business trends and propose adjustments to policies or programs.
• Identify new market opportunities and potential dealer partners.
• Participate directly in customer meetings and business development activities.
Reporting
• Contribute to company- wide strategic and operational planning.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, performance evaluations, and market analysis.
