Senior Application Engineer cum Site Engineer

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for
managing and developing lifecycle services for valves and related equipment
, while also
directly participating in site surveys, diagnostics, and technical support
, with the objectives to:
- Develop service, spare parts, and long- term maintenance revenue.
- Build sustainable technical and service- based relationships with customers.
- Optimize the performance, reliability, and safety of valve systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Engineer
- Training other Application engineers in techniques (if needed).
- Being responsible for technical consultancy when participating in making quotations and contracts.
- Checking the products’ quality before shipping to customers.
- Supporting in evaluating equipment prices and proposals for choosing equipment so that can ensure the prices will not exceed the proposed range.
- Analyzing the drawings, categorizing equipment provided by the Principals or Supplier.
- Tracking and participating in contract performance for technical support promptly.
- Supporting customers in installing, repairing products and spare parts provided by Toan Thang.
- Directly working with the suppliers on the technical requirements of the product.
- Understanding the companies&039; products, selecting, offering suitable equipment with customer’s requirement. Providing datasheet, detailed drawings, and performing technical clarification.
- Being in charge of drafting and compiling technical documents as required in the bid proposals.
- Tracking order and delivery processes of suppliers.
- Searching and suggesting technical specifications to the supervisors to be able to choose a reputable, qualified supplier with the best price.
- Supporting Sales Department in collecting technical information from customers.
- Reviewing and checking the drawings, technical parameters, categorizing equipment provided by the Firms and the ones purchased outside
Site Engineer
- Report relevant information on equipment status at customer’s sites, competitor information, study technical issues and give prompt feedback to related people as Sales, Site Engineer Leader…
- Consult, introduce to customers the products and technical services that the Company provides.
- Survey to build an Installation base for all products that the Company distributes at the northern
- Support sales department (including new sales & aftermarket sales) with related works to field survey activities (including before and after sales)
- Cooperate with workshop in implementing technical services for valves as maintenance, install, commissioning …
- Feedback, update to the sales department on the customers’ organization chart and contact persons (if any)
- Performing other tasks of the Hanoi office designated by Line manager
- Study customers’ demand on spare parts procurement, maintenance, shut- down & turn- around plan.
Other tasks:
- Performing other tasks as requested by the Company.
- Attending classes / training courses organized by the Company / Principals, being willing to sign training contracts with the working period committed which is regulated in the Company&039;s regulations when participating in the training courses.
- Supporting in the projects and trainings appropriate to the workload and technicality.

Competence Requirements:
- Experience: 3- 5 years of relevant experience (valves, pumps, instrumentation preferred)
- Bachelor&039;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation or related field.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and documentation.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Good communication in English and Vietnamese (especially technical English)
- Skilled in MS Office, AutoCAD (or equivalent)
- Responsible, proactive, able to work independently and in team.
- Willing to travel for fieldwork when required.
