Senior Commercial Executive

Main Areas of Responsibility
- Identify and develop potential suppliers
- Coordinate with Quality Control team for chip mills’ visits for quality checks and improvement on an on- going basis
- Obtain market information and coordinate with Market Intelligence team to update accurate market information; analyze and identify market trends/ buying patterns to support management’s decision
- Monitor cargo readiness and quality issues of each supplier to ensure smooth loading
- Other assignments required by management.
- Follow up confirmed orders after trade confirmation issuance
- Handle changes related to shipment plan to fulfill shipments without any impact on the mill’s inventory
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Handle all the related issues arising before, during, and after vessel loading and liaise with Quality Inspection team during vessel loading
- Negotiate with suppliers for the purchase that meets the company’s targets regarding quality, price, loading date, and other commercial terms.
