Senior Cost Accountant

Cost Accountants collaborate with other accountants and financial staff in the company to provide financial and accounting support to executives and department heads who establish goals and budgets for the organization. Their duties include:
Assist other employees with information and/or analysis when requested.
Prepares daily operating performance analysis, including inventory movements, sales, and cost of goods sold, to identify significant issues in a timely
Collecting and analyzing data about a company&039;s operational costs
Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00.The company provides shuttle bus from Dong Nai, Binh Duong – Tay Ninh route.
Establishes labor and overhead rates in line with operating budgets and setting standard costs of manufactured goods.

Participate in performing asset and inventory counts according to the Company&039;s schedule.
Reviews cost and variances between standard/budget and actual cost, researching significant variations and recommending appropriate response.
Developing and analyzing cost standards.
Performs monthly inventory valuation and reconciliation of cost ledgers.
Reviews new BOMs, active role in costing new products or any BOM updated to cost ofproduct accuracy
Assist modify to apply the procedure to manage manufacturing cost sush as raw material.
Carrying out cost- volume- profit (CVP) and Gross Profit analysis.
Performs data management tasks related to inventory and job costing in ERP software.
Prepares and monitors operating forecasts based on budgets. Review significant variations
Recommending changes to the company&039;s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit.

Performs annual cost roll and inventory revaluation. Works with supply chain and production management to enhance accuracy of cost components.

Experience
Education
Strong time management skills and analytical skills.
Excellent working knowledge of computer software including Excel and costing and related function in ERP systems.
Ability to work in a fast- paced and dynamic environment
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for documentation and tracking
Fluent in English
Bachelor&039;s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Ability to work independently and work well in a team
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cost accountant,
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Ability to effectively communicate with non- finance staff, including those in the warehouse and factory
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
