Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description:
Infrastructure & Cloud

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
Design and manage complex cloud (AWS strongly preferred) or hybrid infrastructures.
Deploy and optimize container- based systems (Docker, Kubernetes), including cluster, networking, and storage management.

CI/CD & Automation

Build and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.
Improve build, test, and deployment efficiency.

Monitoring & Operations

Set up proactive alerting and SLO/SLA monitoring.
Manage centralized logging (ELK/Loki).
Establish observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).

Security & Optimization

Drive cloud cost optimization (FinOps).
Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
Integrate DevSecOps practices: vulnerability scanning, security checks, secrets management.

Collaboration

Partner with Development teams to troubleshoot complex performance and deployment issues.
Maintain accurate documentation and SOPs.
Mentor junior engineers and support cross- team technical development.

Requirements

Advanced Terraform and configuration management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet).
Strong scripting in Bash/Shell and one programming language (Python/Go).
Expert- level Linux and system administration.
5–7+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE or similar roles, with ownership of large- scale infrastructure.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes (Helm, Operators, Service Mesh is a plus).
Strong CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, VPN/TGW.
Strong hands- on AWS experience (networking, security, serverless is a plus).
