Senior DevOps Engineer (HR Software)

Job Description
The Senior DevOps Engineer will lead and optimize DevOps practices for Humanica’s HR SaaS platform, managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD), implementing GitOps workflows, and automating infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible. The role includes designing and executing modern deployment strategies such as blue- green and canary releases, managing Kubernetes environments, and enforcing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployment standards, runbooks, and rollback procedures. This position will integrate automated testing and quality gates into pipelines, monitor deployment health through the observability stack, lead incident response for infrastructure issues, mentor team members, and continuously improve deployment velocity, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Implement GitOps workflows and deployment automation
Establish deployment standards, runbooks, and rollback procedures
Design and implement deployment strategies (blue- green, canary)
Manage Kubernetes deployments, services, and configurations
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD)
Mentor DevOps team members and establish best practices
Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible
Build automated testing and quality gates in CI/CD pipeline
Monitor deployment health and integrate with observability stack
Lead incident response for deployment and infrastructure issues
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) for all infrastructure
Optimize deployment velocity, reliability, and cost

Your Profile
Experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem- solving skills
GitOps practices and ArgoCD
Team collaboration and mentorship capabilities
Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
Expert in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
Strong Kubernetes experience (deployments, services, ingress, helm)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
5+ years DevOps or infrastructure automation experience
Cloud platforms (AWS, Huawei Cloud)
Scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Go)
Preferred:
Working Hours: Flexible with some after- hours work for deployments and maintenance
SRE practices and reliability engineering
FinOps and cost optimization
Kubernetes operators and custom resources
Multi- cloud deployment experience
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
Location: On- site only
Certifications: CKA, CKAD, AWS/Cloud certifications
Master&039;s degree is a plus
Container security and image scanning
Language
Able to communicate in English in a professional working environment (reading technical documents, participating in discussions with international team members)
