Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
IT MANAGEMENT
Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, applying cryptography to network applications, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
Install, configure, add or upgrade and maintain personal computers, file servers, ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems.
Maintain licenses for department/organization. Document network problems and resolutions for future reference. Perform and/or oversee software and application development, installation, and upgrades.
Assist users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems.
Plan periodic maintenance, repair, upgrade and recommend purchases of computers, peripheral equipment, network hardware and software.
Administer network workstations: Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures. Investigate, recommend and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability. Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
Update new IT products, system solutions, and applications of new technology regarding Enterprise IT Management System.
Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions. Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
Coordinate with the headquarters&039; IT department to centralize the IT infrastructure for the Hanoi branch
OFFICE EQUIPMENT
Perform other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
Recommend and supervise the office equipment’s supplier and maintenance service providers
Maintain and troubleshoot the office equipment/machines electrical devices (telephone system, facsimile, photocopiers, printer, etc.) to make sure those are in good condition and operation
