Senior/Lead Quality Engineer Automation

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring reliability and performance of our distributed systems. You’ll drive automation initiatives, design robust test frameworks, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with product management, software, DevOps, data engineering, and security teams to maintain world- class quality.

This position is preferably based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Review code and promote QA best practices across teams.
Drive continuous integration and deployment test practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Mentor and support junior QE engineers.
Implement and maintain automated tests for functionality, scalability, and performance.
Identify quality risks early and proactively drive solutions.
Ensure release compliance through test result reporting.
Collaborate with developers and DevOps to improve test reliability and coverage.
Lead test automation strategy and framework design for backend and cloud- based services.

Strong programming skills in Python (or similar).
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with attention to detail.
Solid understanding of AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.
Comfortable working with Unix- based systems, containers (Docker), and data workflows.
Expertise in test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
5+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.

Knowledge of DevOps.
Familiarity with containerization, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure- as- code workflows.
Experience with test data management and performance testing at scale.
Experience with data analytics or bioinformatics pipelines.
