Senior Packaging Designer (Packaging & Logistic, Bac Ninh) - 27315

* ENGINEERING DIRECTIVE
• Participate in and comply with available training programs
• Follow ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with established engineering processes and tools
• Create designs in compliance with the drawing manual and sustainability guidelines
* MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and support packaging evaluations and designs created by other engineers or designers
• Visit suppliers as required and requested by the Sourcing team
• Create CAD drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials
• Support onboarding activities as assigned by the Engineering Manager
• Visit customers together with sales personnel to review technical aspects of customer requirements
• Manage design specifications and approve outsourced designs
• Assess structural requirements, transportation methods, long- term storage, and other technical specifications
• Support other departments as required
• Collect and prepare sufficient information required for technical drawings
• Ensure solutions are delivered within defined parameters, including timeline, construction requirements, and packaging budget
• Supervise, coach, and mentor junior engineers
• Support managers in special engineering project assignments
• Provide technical expertise related to packaging solutions
• Understand material specifications and propose alternative materials when necessary
• Design packaging solutions using standard products and/or sourced materials
• Lead and coordinate other engineers in project execution

EDUCATION
• CAD Designer/Drafter with significant practical experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience; or
• Project Management certification is considered an asset
• Master’s Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent combination of education and experience; or
EXPERIENCE
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage tasks across multiple engineers
• Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in diverse professional environments
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with CAD software, either in an academic or professional environment
• Experience designing with steel, wood, corrugated materials, foam, and/or other industrial materials is an advantage but not required
LANGUAGES
• English: High proficiency (mandatory)

• Strong experience with CAD software (IronCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or NX/Unigraphics)

- Salary review: Once per year.

- 13 month salary:
- For engineer position: depending on the performace, KPI and revenue of the company, they have bonus once per year: Up to 2 month salary.
