Senior Procurement Officer – Shipping & Customs Formality

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and maintain effective working relationships with Customs authorities to ensure smooth and timely clearance processes.
Perform customs declaration and customs formalities for import and export of materials, equipment, chemicals, spare parts, and related goods.
Participate in productivity and process improvement initiatives within the Procurement and Shipping & Customs function.
Ensure compliance with company policies related to safety, environment, and energy, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
Draft, review, and update import/export customs clearance procedures, including preparation and maintenance of duty- free import goods lists.
Implement and manage customs procedures and documentation in compliance with current laws and regulations.
Apply customs tax incentives and privileges to optimize cost efficiency for import and export activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Section Manager and Procurement Manager.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields.

Minimum 3–5 years of hands- on experience working with Customs authorities in import and export procedures.
Prior experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, or related sectors is highly preferred.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Experience in customs tax exemption, duty- free import procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Good negotiation, coordination, and problem- solving skills.
Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.

High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and compliance mindset.
Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with Customs authorities.
