Senior R&D Engineer (OB After Tet)

We’re looking for Sr. R&D Engineer responsible to work closely with internal / external groups, and to coordinate the corresponding manufacturing partnership teams (Production, HR, Import/Export, Planning, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Technical Development). Ensures continued supply of Product / Finished Product as per market demand.

We’re having significant manufacturing base in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai named TRUAIRE Vietnam.
R&D Engineer is responsible for HVAC engineering in materials, product development, compliance & standards, documentation, continuous improvement & project management.
This job will require oversea business travelling when necessary.

Develop test protocol: (under International Standards) to qualify product, establish specification, standards.
Prototype build & qualification: build prototype, test, analysis, finetune & qualify, report.
Collaboration: work with all stakeholders to deploy projects: Product Marketing, Design, Engineering, Project Leader, Production, Quality.
Run VE projects.
Run product innovation projects.
Documentation: build & maintain material, product specifications, compliance, BOM, drawings, ECN, PLM & engineering documents.
Support the production and engineering needs through the set- up and operation of manufacturing processes.
Receive handover from relocation project.
Manage Lab room, testing activities.
Planning & execute R&D projects: research, design, qualify & improve HVAC product.

Fluent in English and Vietnamese (required), able to communicate clearly and directly with all levels of the organization.
Project, management skills & able to work with stakeholders.
4+ years of related experience and knowledge in HVAC equipment & manufacturing.
Collaborative, proactive attitude.
Hands- on style.
Team environment and independent working experience.
Able to understand and document a process, specification accurately. Quick learner.
Detail- oriented, able to handle multiple projects.
Bsc in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal engineering or any related
Strong experience of HVAC International standards, testing methods, compliance.
AutoCAD, SolidWorks, simulation software knowledge as well as general software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem- solving skills.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical & manufacturing processes.
