Sign-on Bonus Backend Engineer Nodejs

As a Backend Engineer at Everfit, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the infrastructure behind our AI- powered fitness coaching platform. Your contributions will directly support coaches and users around the world.

Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and help evolve our microservices architecture.
Contribute to the overall architecture, scalability, and quality of our backend systems.
Translate business and customer needs into reliable, high- performance applications.
Collaborate closely with a small, agile team through scrum rituals, prototyping, and code reviews.

• 3+ years of professional experience working with Node.js (ES6).
• Intermediate English communication skills — you&039;re willing to grow with us.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture.
• Experienced with Express.js, MongoDB, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiar with unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha, and passionate about code quality.
• Able to write clean, maintainable, and well- documented code.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Strong problem- solving and analytical skills.

Nice to have

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, ECS).
Hands- on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, ECS, Lambda).
Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Kafka, SQS).
Familiar with authentication/authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
