Software Consultant Application - Java/Python/Golang

This is a full- time role for a Software Consultant, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Software Consultant will be responsible for the day- to- day tasks of software development, implementation, and customer support. The role will also require close collaboration with other team members in Vietnam and oversea to continuously review, improve, and develop high- quality projects.
Responsibilities:

Coding, data modeling, query development, and optimization
Communicate project status to team members in daily & weekly follow- ups
Assist the Technical Manager and Sales team to support and work with customers when necessary
Gather, analyze, and document project functional requirements.
Software implementation, integration, and support
Development of demos and proof- of- concepts

Skills Required:

Understanding the open- source technology
Strong knowledge of application development and system integrations
Having high responsibility for the assigned tasks, and being proactive in taking on new tasks as needed or when available
Knowing AI/ Machine Learning, NLP (Natural Language Processing) and/or Elasticsearch is a plus
Comfortable working remotely and/or at the client’s premises
Knowing Linux, databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), application security, information retrieval/analytics
Being able to work independently as well as actively contributing to the team.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, e.g. Java, Python, Go
Hands- on experience with distributed systems from an architecture and development perspective
Good understanding of micro- services and container platform, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus

Profile:

Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering discipline
Good problem- solving skills
Eager to learn new technologies
Enthusiastic, creative and flexible
Minimum 3- 5 years working experience as a Software Developer/ DevOps Engineer or similar role
Having work experience in implementing Elastic platform and/or similar solutions is a plus
