Job purpose:
To play a key role in the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, while collaborating with cross- functional teams, ensuring code quality, and continuously enhancing technical expertise to contribute to team success.
Responsibilities
Responsible for technical output of the engineering activities in appointed product squads, including:
New products & features technical design and development
Code reviews conducting
Existing products & features maintenance
Best practices and standards studying and implementation support
Technical solutions research and development support
Support CI/CD pipeline building
Support team building:
Assist and teach other engineers to develop their skills an individual basis
New engineers onboarding support
Requirements
Good English writing skills (mostly for work email and chat)
The will to take the right risks
Obsession with growth, both personal and team wise
Stays updated on emerging AI tools to continuously improve development practices
Good communication & collaboration skills with both tech and non- tech partners
Proficient in using AI- powered development tools (e.g., Cursor, WindSurf) for coding, debugging, and refactoring
Familiarity with hiring and team building activities
Experienced with Agile methods (Scrum or XP)
Ability to coach/ train people
Proficient in English reading
Good leadership skills
Proficient technical skills with minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant Industries
Experiences with micro- services and/or TDD is a plus
Familiarity with MERN (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS) stack is preferred
Able to integrate AI tools into daily workflows to boost productivity and code quality
