Organizing wine tasting events.
Making recommendations on food and wine pairings.
Negotiating prices with vendors.
Training wait staff on available wines.
Informing guests on the variety of wines available.
Ensuring that the wine cellar is fully stocked.
Assist members and guests during the dinner service with wine recommendations and selection for perfect pairing with their dinner, decanting of the wine and wine service.
Creating and updating wine lists with the chefs and manager.
Responsible for ordering, receiving, inventory, organizing
Develop a training program for all Team Members to improve their knowledge of wine tasting and wine service

Strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings.
Certification as a sommelier or a degree in hospitality is beneficial.
Knowledge of local vineyards and wineries.
Extensive knowledge on wines and regions of the different types.
Previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward, or in a hospitality role.
Understanding of the wine making process.
Understanding of pricing, budgets and cost controls

8 hours/day, 1 day off/week
