Monitor stock levels and ensure timely preparation before service.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients.
Maintain a high level of hospitality consistent with the resort’s service standards.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.
Maintain high standards of freshness for fish and all ingredients.
Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki, nigiri, and other Japanese dishes according to restaurant standards.
Interact with guests when required (e.g., at sushi bar or live station) in a polite and professional manner.
Immediately report any food quality or safety concerns to supervisors.
Set up and organize the sushi station before each service.
Comply with the resort’s policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Ensure all dishes meet the resort’s quality, taste, and presentation guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene of the workstation at all times.
Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food deliveries, especially fresh seafood.
Provide recommendations or explain dishes when requested.
Yêu cầu công việc
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
English communication is preferred.
Strong teamwork, communication, and time- management skills.
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Sushi Chef or similar role in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, fish handling and cutting techniques.
Skilled in preparing sushi and sashimi with precision and speed.
