Team Leader - Public Area

Job Overview:The Team Leader – Public Area assists the Assistant Manager- Public Area in supervising the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas in the resort, ensuring that Park Hyatt’s luxury standards and brand promise are consistently met.
Main Responsibilities:

Support Hyatt’s values, culture, and teamwork spirit through daily leadership and positive example.
Train, coach, and motivate attendants on cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of public areas, back- of- house, and function rooms to maintain a pristine environment.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
Report and follow up on maintenance issues and ensure all equipment and cleaning tools are properly handled.
Assign tasks and monitor performance of Public Area Attendants to ensure all areas meet brand standards.
Supervise daily cleaning operations in all public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, outlets, spa, gym, and outdoor spaces.
Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints courteously and professionally.
Coordinate with Engineering and Contractors for repairs, maintenance, and periodic projects such as carpet shampooing or high dusting.

Team- oriented, proactive, and able to multitask effectively.
Strong leadership and communication skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, inspection standards, and guest service excellence.
Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
Minimum 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
