Test Engineer

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Spartronics Viet Nam is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team in the production of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) and Box- build for electronic products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the test of our PCBA/ Box- build products meets or exceeds customer requirements and industry standards related to testing.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Continuously improve test processes and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and debug test failures and provide solutions.
Perform routine assignments in support of supervisor/manager.
Follow up the daily production testing and represent customers to ensure product quality.
Design and implement test plans and test cases
Participate in Root Cause Analysis when repetitive failure of products occurs, or failure under warranty.
Perform other related duties as designed.
Develop and optimize test strategies and methodologies for complex electronic products.
Handle troubleshooting and repairing returned products from customers. (RMA/Rework Service).
Ensure the equipment is properly tested, calibrated, and certified according to the corresponding procedures.
Coordinate with cross- functional teams to ensure test coverage and alignment with product specifications.

Education: Bachelor&039;s or Master&039;s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Machatronics or related major.
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing in a PCBA manufacturing environment.
Experience in programming for product testing and validation.
Experience in DFT review and implementation for ICT fixture development.
Understand the schematic, BOM, and Gerber files to develop test plans, then work with the vendor to fabricate the FCT fixture.

Other:

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross- functional teams.
Experiences in using test automation tools and programming languages.
Good communication in English, good at analytical and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in test engineering, preferably in the EMS industry.
Proficiency in using test software and programming languages.
In- depth knowledge of electronic test methods, including ICT, FCT, Fly probe, Boundary scan.
