Training Manager - On site Resort

TASKS OVERVIEWING
Responsible for managing the Resort’s training function, including developing a complement of qualified departmental trainers and establishes a Resort system, responsible for identifying the needs of the Resort and ensuring that the employees of the Resort acquire the necessary skills to perform their duties according to the demands of the Resort.
TASKS CLARIFYING
• Develop and implement training programs to meet specific department/Resort needs.
• Performing other tasks assigned by superior.
• Create a learning organization and resources library.
• Facilitate management training programs.
• Keep good relationship with vocational schools.
• Administer the training budget and purchase training materials as required.
• Monitor all training activities conducted on and off site.
• Liaise with training consultant conducting hospitality training courses.
• Conduct training needs analysis of the Resort and departments.
• Ensure all staff receives ongoing training in Wyndham Corporate Training Programs.
• Assist in Resort Recognition Program.
• Maintain an up to date record of suppliers of training resources.
• Participating training courses and meetings as demanded.
• Source and obtain specialist assistance to conduct training when needed.
• Prepare training budget to meet the business goal.
• Ensure that all associates comply with the grooming and uniform standards.
• Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! Experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
• Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike.
• Evaluate training effectiveness by attending as many training sessions as possible.
• Associate with Department Heads to develop departmental on the job training schedules that meet departmental operating objectives.
• Establish a training library of books, videos, journals and resources to assist trainer and staff development.
• Ensure that all new associates attend the Resort Orientation program.
• Assist in the selection and appointment of departmental trainers and set up training system.
• Support General Manager and Head of Human Resources in meeting the strategic goals of culture building and establishment by professional, advisory and executive way.
• Manage the administration of trainees and apprentices on the property.
• Prepare and administer the training calendar on monthly basis.

• Having degrees and certificates related to the profession.
• Having excellent presentation skill.
• Being creative and innovative.
• Having at least 01 years working experience as the same position in 4 – 5 stars Resort/ resort.
• Mastering in hospitality activities.
• Being fluent in English.
• Arranging work and coordinating with colleagues well.
• Having high team spirit.
• Being proficient in office informatics, Resort management software.
• Graduating from university and higher.
