Training Manager

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Training Manager is responsible for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of learning and development strategies across the hotel/resort. The role ensures that all employees are equipped with the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to deliver service excellence in accordance with brand standards, operational requirements and legal obligations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare, manage and monitor the annual training budget to ensure cost effectiveness. 4. Design, coordinate and deliver training programmes including induction, brand standards, leadership development, operational skills, and compliance training.
Support departmental trainers and managers to enhance training capability.
Act as a role model for organisational values and service excellence.
Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain accurate training records.
Develop, implement and review the annual Learning and Development Plan in alignment with the hotel&039;s business objectives and brand requirements.
Ensure compliance with brand audits, quality assurance standards and relevant legislation.
Deliver classroom- based training, workshops and on- the- job coaching.
Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
Conduct regular Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across all departments.

CRITERIA:
Qualifications:
Bachelor&039;s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Education or related discipline.
Professional training certification (CIPD, Train the Trainer) is desirable.
Experience:
3- 5 years&039; experience in Training or Learning & Development within a 5- star hotel or luxury resort.
Experience with international hotel brands is an advantage.
