Recommend rewards, disciplinary actions, salary adjustments, and staff promotions.
Conduct interviews and select suitable employees.
Supervise internal relationships and handle conflicts fairly.
Propose recruitment needs and coordinate with the HR Department to source candidates.
Training & Procedures
Conduct on- the- job training to ensure staff understand and follow approved procedures.
Develop departmental procedures according to VTOS standards and submit for approval.
Operations – Guest Services
Attend shift briefings to update staff on arrivals and special guest requests.
Coordinate with related departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Collect guest comments and propose service quality improvements.
Receive and handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and efficiently.
Operations – Revenue & Product Quality
Ensure room status is accurately updated and monitor room readiness for sale.
Inspect the quality of guestrooms, public areas, laundry services, and linen.
Supervise VIP/VVIP room standards and oversee regular cleaning and sanitizing.
Propose new services to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
Execute the Lost & Found procedures.
Cost Control – Assets – Equipment
Manage keys and storage areas; coordinate periodic inventory checks.
Prepare annual forecasts for linen, supplies, and equipment; recommend purchases.
Propose improvements for departmental operations.
Supervise proper operation of machines and tools to minimize damage or loss.
Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies for guest service.
Inspect equipment and tools; propose repairs or upgrades when necessary.
Department Staff Management
Arrange weekly work schedules and coordinate workloads.
Check staff grooming and uniforms; conduct daily shift briefings.
Prepare daily reports and evaluate staff performance.
Supervise staff performance to ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and professional conduct.
Support cleaning tasks when necessary.
Planning & Development
Implement approved plans effectively.
Develop weekly, monthly, and annual plans for staffing, training, operations, and investment.
Yêu cầu công việc
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems (Opera, Smile, etc.).
Good English communication skills, especially in internal coordination and guest interaction.
Strong ability to develop procedures, create plans, coordinate tasks, and effectively supervise departmental operations.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a 4- star hotel/resort or higher.
