Vietsol is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our Vehicle Attribute team, specializing in Energy Management & Driving Quality (EMDQ). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing vehicle level tests related to energy efficiency, range estimation, regenerative braking, coasting, and overall driving quality.
Job Descriptions:
• Contribute to continuous improvement in test methodology and attribute development processes.
• Conduct tests under various driving scenarios including city, highway, hill route, and standard driving cycles (e.g., MIDC, WLTP, NEDC).
• Instrument vehicles with data acquisition systems (e.g., CAN loggers, GPS, HV current sensors, IMUs) and verify signal quality.
• Plan and execute vehicle- level tests to evaluate energy management and driving quality attributes (e.g., range, regenerative braking, drive- off behavior, coasting, acceleration feel).
• Collaborate with cross- functional teams including calibration, controls, HMI, and software teams to provide feedback and support for attribute tuning.
• Support development and validation of energy consumption strategies and vehicle response behavior in real- world and controlled test environments.
• Maintain test vehicle readiness, coordinate workshop tasks, and ensure test instrumentation integrity.
• Analyze collected data and generate test reports summarizing KPIs, findings, and root cause analysis.
• Benchmark competitor vehicles and contribute to target setting for energy and driving quality attributes.

Job Requirements:
• Hands- on experience with data acquisition tools (e.g., Vector CANape/CANalyzer, INCA, Dewesoft, Racelogic, AVL).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a cross- functional and international team environment.
• 2–5 years of experience in vehicle testing or attribute engineering, preferably in energy management or vehicle dynamics.
• Familiarity with electric vehicle systems (HV battery, inverter, e- motor) is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, or FlexRay communication protocols.
• Strong problem- solving skills and analytical mindset.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or Excel for data processing is a plus
• High attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward quality assurance. Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding of vehicle- level energy flow and control strategy (e.g., torque delivery, pedal feel, regenerative blending).
• Experience with regulatory driving cycles (e.g., MIDC, WLTP).
• Driving license (B1/B2) is required
• Prior involvement in subjective vehicle attribute tuning or test correlation.
