02 Data Engineers Databricks

Technical development activities:
+ Analysis and resolution of incidents, provision of new (bug fix) releases for delivery and rollout of the software with support
+ Design, build, review reliable BE and FE code for Generative AI application which will be deployed in Cloud based or on- premises.
+ Draft and update use cases and user stories when required with guidance
+ Follow guidelines from Control, Quality and Procedures Section: JIRA workflow, DevOps and build strategies, software development standards and best practices, security instructions,…
+ Setup development/integration environments (Infrastructure, CI/CD Pipeline, Monitoring), implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process and integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure software quality with support
+ Compliance with commitments for scopes to be implemented and ensuring that the solution meets the customer&039;s requirements
+ Prepare unit test cases, E2E automation test and plans.
+ Design, build, review reliable Data processing workflow code which will be deployed in Cloud based or on Premises.
+ Perform application/system maintenance and monitoring activities.
+ Adhere to the acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done
+ Ensure documentation of software/changes is maintained and at quality in accordance with internal standards and industry best practices.
+ Follow client Standards
+ Technical analysis of business requirements to implement the application/system with guidance
Teamwork and collaboration activities:
+ Report to higher manager the assigned tasks result and other performance result on request
+ Presentation of the results to the stakeholders as part of a system and/or sprint demo
+ Verify and submit Timesheet of internal team (on assignment with guidance)
+ Follow process, regulations and procedures of the Company
+ Active participation in all project- related meetings (e.g. Daily, Backlog Refinement)
+ Monitor and control performance of team and each individual (on assignment and with guidance)
+ Remove impediments and obstacles in the project to facilitate team&039;s work with support.
+ Follow- up on activities related to software development and testing
+ Manage project team, perform work estimation, assign tasks, create project reports when required and with support
+ Define, monitor, assess and report project&039;s Objectives (on assignment)
Training and coaching (when required):
+ Train/Coach other colleagues and newly hired employees when required
+ Continuous training on new technologies and trends in software development, cloud computing and full- stack development (framework, protocol, Cloud, DevOps, Gen AI...)

•Technical skills/experiences:
+ At least 3 years of experience working with software development or data engineering such as Python, Java, Scala, Hadoop, Tableau, JavaScript, Power BI,...
+ Has at least 1.5 years of experience and knowledge with Databricks and/or Power BI as the following:
**DataBrick:
- Solid understanding of Databricks workspace architecture, including clusters, notebooks, jobs, and workspace management.
- Hands- on experience with:

Apache Spark (PySpark/SQL) for data exploration and transformation.
Databricks SQL for building and optimizing queries.
Delta Lake for managing large- scale data with ACID transactions.

- Familiarity with setup and configuration of:

Git integration and CI/CD pipelines
Clusters (standard, high- concurrency, autoscaling)
Exposure to other supported languages/platforms such as Python, SQL, Scala, and R (optional).
Understanding of Unity Catalog, access control, and workspace governance is a plus.
Job scheduling and orchestration
Experience deploying Databricks in Azure or AWS environments.

**Power BI:
- Strong experience in building interactive dashboards, data models, and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Proficient in:

Power Query (M) for data transformation and shaping.
Dataflows, shared datasets, and deployment pipelines.
DAX for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.

- Ability to configure:

Gateway connections
Scheduled refreshes
Row- Level Security (RLS)
Experience integrating Power BI with Databricks, Azure SQL, or REST APIs.

Nice to Have:
- Data Modeling & Integration: dbt, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
- DevOps & Automation: Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform (for infrastructure provisioning).
- Cloud Platforms: Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP—especially services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or AWS Glue.
- Security & Governance: Familiarity with data access policies, audit logging, and compliance standards.
- Programming: Python (for scripting and automation), SQL (advanced level).
• Soft skills/experiences:
+ At least 1.5 years of experience in Agile SCRUM, has understanding about Agile Manifesto and SCRUM events.
+ Able to communicate with client in English: self- introduction, interview, presentation, and discussion in SCRUM events
+ Has experience or willing to work with European client
