The Checkout Experience team&039;s mission is to craft the most intuitive checkout & payment for users in the stage of making a purchase on our Tiki app and website. We&039;re seeking an individual who has deep knowledge and practical experience in large scale, distributed system with complex database model and promotion logic. As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building high performance, fault tolerant and maintainable APIs that streamlines the ordering process for millions of users. You will be working on a multitude of challenging projects such as increasing peak orders per second 10x and re-architecting our checkout system for maximum independence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an “OPEN API” system that helps not only the internal team can use it but also many 3rd services can integrate with
- Develop the architecture for checkout flow to help our system can handle huge traffic at peak time with multi-million of quotes, orders and customer
- Build a system to adapt to complex business logic.

- Rich experiences about container environment such as Docker, Kubenetes.
- Understanding of design for large scalability, performance and reliability. Familiar with some system such as Kafka, Redis, Mysql, MongoDB, Elastic search ….
- Strong at object-oriented analysis and design.
- Experience with cloud-based system Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services is a plus.
- Experience working on a large scale deployment and performance tuning.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Python or Java is required.
