Job Description:

We are seeking a 3D Digital Transformation Engineer who will play a key role in building our 3D data processing and visualization platform. This role focuses on developing pipelines that convert heavy 3D design models into lightweight, interactive formats for web- based 3D viewers.

Responsibilities:

Support data consistency and model integrity throughout the transformation process.
Optimize 3D data for streaming and rendering in commercial 3D viewers.
Develop tools to extract geometric and attribute data from large- scale 3D design files and convert them into spatial databases.
Collaborate with back- end and front- end teams to integrate processed models into our visualization platform.
Implement data pipelines to transform spatial data into visualization- friendly formats such as 3D Tiles, glTF, etc.

Requirements:

Strong experience in 3D programming or engineering software development.
Experience with 3D data pipelines: parsing, transforming, and visualizing 3D data.
Good understanding of CAD/BIM/Plant design model structures (Piping, Equipment, Structural).
Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS) and 3D web formats (3D Tiles, glTF).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross- functional team.
Proficiency in working with geometry and metadata from large- scale 3D engineering models.

Preferred:

Experience in shipbuilding or plant engineering data workflows.
Experience with CesiumJS, Three.js, or other WebGL- based viewers is advantageous.
Knowledge of IFC, CityGML, or OGC standards is a plus.
