3D Designer

A 3D Designer&039;s primary responsibility is to create 3D models and renderings of furniture designs according to the requirements of the R&D Development department. To support the R&D team in making realistic 3D renderings, surfaces, materials, and textures should be as realistic and high quality as possible. The 3D Designer needs to work with the photographer to set up studio or factory field lighting, take photos with DSLR cameras, and edit the images using Photoshop software.

Communicate with the R&D and Communication team for new product images.
Continuous communication with the product development engineer about sample status as well as work with the R&D team on 3D standards and requirements.
Update existing 3D models and renderings as needed.
Create 3D models, textures, and materials for furniture and home décor.
Needs to be able to understand and convert concepts into high- quality 3D visualizations.
Use Photoshop software to edit photos when required.
Create photo- realistic cinematic animation videos.
Work closely with the design team to ensure that the 3D models and renderings meet the required standards.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of the 3D models and renderings.
Design and create photo- realistic renderings of the 3D models.

Education

Major in 3D or Furniture/Interior design.
College and above

Experience, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Effective time management
Expertise in 3D modeling software, such as 3DS Max, VRay, Maya, or Blender
From 2 years of experience in 3D visualization & 3D Interior Design
Excellent communication and problem- solving skills
Good attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
