Job Description
Perform check- up, testing, trouble- shooting, repair and preventive maintenance implementation of all major electrical equipment such as transformers, main circuit breakers, motors, controls, generators, communication facilities, audio visual equipment, electrical appliances, batteries, lighting and others electronic devices.
To attend shift briefing and report in brief the main jobs will be carried out in his duty shift. Report the finishing job or pending jobs with reasons to Supervisor.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of the following major and auxiliary refrigeration equipment:
Other air- conditioning appliances
FCUs
Chiller ( 0 – 5 0C)
Fridge.
AHUs
Freezer (- 20 0C)
Ice machine
Table Freezer.
To assist EL technicians to repair and troubleshooting of the following major and auxiliary electrical equipment:
All other electrical appliances.
Batteries of Emergency lights and exit lights.
Electrical panels, lightings auxiliary.
Emergency power equipment such as generator and control panels.
Low voltage substation, switchgears, motor controls, control panels, protection auxiliary devices and circuit breakers.
Electrical Distribution boards.
Motors and transformers immersed types,
Maintains cleanliness, orderliness and safety of the main machine room. Maintains cleanliness and safety operation of all equipment under his responsibility.
Must learn by heart and perform properly his roles as a member of the Fire Brigade Team.
Follow up maintenance schedule as per specific works in schedule.
Must be able to fill- up the required hotel standard log sheet forms applicable to his assigned work at the end of each day and submit to his superior for review, notation and filing.
To fully support and implement the in house Energy Conservation.
Performs the assigned trade duties as directed by the Director of Engineering.
Follow the engineering safety standard procedures in the use of tools, equipment, safety lock- out, tagging and signage posting before and after work to ensure safety of the guests, colleagues, and equipment’s and properly coordinates with the ACE / Supervisors.
Ensure all requests of repair & troubleshooting for guestroom air- condition system to be completed in a timely manner.
Carries out any other duties which may be directed by the Management from time to time.
Responds and makes self- available for calls by superior or colleagues during emergency troubles or calamity, stays in the hotel as stand by to aid in emergency trouble shooting and operations.
Fill up the Preventive Maintenance and repair log sheet as scheduled
