Academic roles and responsibilities
1. Administrative Duties
Co- ordinate Principals Meetings and liaise with other departments to ensure all logistics and budgeting requirements are approved.
Initiate and support administrative processes to ensure that academic projects and initiatives are effectively implemented and operationalized by identifying realistic implementation actions, establishing timelines and milestones, and monitoring progress.
Support key annual and once- off events and official inspections that involve schools including accreditation visits e.g., WASC, Induction, APMOPS, Christmas Charity Fairs, DOET audit etc.
Compile reports as required with recommendations.
Developing evaluation criteria for projects/initiatives in consultation with the Education Director and Supervisory Principal and drafting reports on the implementation success of projects and initiatives that are assigned.
Assist with the organization and management of professional development events and in- house teacher training.
Translate documents – Vietnamese to English, English to Vietnamese.
2. Data gathering and management
Support the collection and collation of enrolment predictions.
Support the processes and collation of data for academic results reviews.
To support academic project review with relevant supporting data such as observations, feedback and surveys.
Support the processes and collation of data for staffing requirements for schools.
3. Professional Expectations
He/she shall support the Director of Education, Supervisory Principal in other strategic and administrative matters.
Look out for latest educational trends in relation to the academic projects and initiaitves.
As a member of the Academic Department, it is also his/her duty to work closely with, as a team player, with various stakeholders to successfully implement Academic Projects/initiatives across all schools.
Operational roles and responsibilities
(Operations tasks – to report to Education Director, Supervisory Principal and Deputy Director of Operation)
1. School Operations and Corporate Administration
To assist in fine tuning the operating procedures / business practices at both school and corporate level and provide necessary feedback on the improvement and / or further development of those procedures / practices.
To assist in setting up new schools and/or periodically visiting current schools.
To support in drafting policies, procedures, letter to external parties, and other documents.
To assist in working/ coordinating among all schools to make sure that new policies/ changes/ applications from Company are carried out.
To support in event organization.
2. Legal and operations licensing
To support in preparing dossier, maintaining statutory and legal compliance of the operation of the schools as per the Company’s common guidelines and directions.
To support in obtaining any required licenses/ registration for the operation of new schools as per authority/ company’s guidelines and directions.
Any other duties/responsibilities assigned by his/her Supervisor and/or Management.
