Job Description:
Teacher Management:
Recruit additional and replacement teachers (average 5- 10 teachers/month), including:
Posting job ads, filtering candidates
Participating in and evaluating demo lessons
Screening resumes, contacting candidates for interviews
Teacher training, including:
Training teachers on teaching methods and SS English Academy&039;s teaching programs
Providing book training for teachers upon request
Orientation before starting teaching and onboarding teachers into the system
Teacher management, including:
Working with managers of partners providing foreign teachers
Evaluating teacher performance
Updating teacher information in the system and related files
Approving teacher leave requests
Reminding and warning teachers in case of violations and providing feedback on attendance, class quality, late academic reports, etc.
Academic Program Management:
Participate in building and developing the curriculum.
Manage issues related to the academic program (with support from staff and teachers):
Manage curriculum framework files and student learning paths
Manage the creation of learning paths for new students and renewals for students whose courses are about to expire
Manage the adjustment of learning paths for individual student needs
Manage the marking of trial quizzes/ESL/IELTS tests
General Academic Affairs Management:
Understand the overall work of the academic affairs department, represent the department in meetings with the management board to implement work requests from the general director.
Job Requirements:
Proficient in English, equivalent to C1 or higher according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or IELTS 7.5 or higher.
Thorough understanding of CEFR, Cambridge language proficiency tests (including IELTS), and English textbooks from publishers such as Cambridge, Oxford, Macmillan, National Geographic, etc.
Passionate about learning and researching human training and development.
Ability and willingness to communicate and persuade both Vietnamese and foreign teachers.
Proficient in using technology, especially Excel or Google Sheets.
At least 3 years of experience related to online and offline English teaching, curriculum development, teacher recruitment, and training.
