Job Description:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for building and nurturing strategic partnerships with financial institutions (banks, finance companies, fintechs) and large enterprises that seek to leverage Alternative Data for optimizing their risk policies, enhancing credit assessment, and driving business efficiency. You will act as a crucial bridge, ensuring partners fully grasp the value and applications of our Alternative Data solutions, thereby driving revenue growth and market expansion.B. SKILL
Key Responsibilities:
New Partner Acquisition:
Establish initial relationships, present our products/services, and articulate the value- add of Alternative Data in risk management and business decision- making.
Proactively seek new business opportunities and expand the client/partner network.
Conduct market research to identify and approach potential partners (banks, finance companies, insurance firms, major e- commerce platforms, etc.) with needs for Alternative Data solutions.
Existing Partner Management:
Act as a liaison between partners and internal departments (Policy, Product, Data Science, IT) to ensure effective project implementation and resolve any issues.
Maintain and strengthen sustainable relationships with existing partners, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging renewals/expansions of contracts.
Regularly update on partner needs and challenges to propose timely and appropriate solutions.
Negotiation and Contract Closure:
Provide legal support during contract signing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Negotiate commercial terms and contract conditions with partners to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Analyze partner requirements, propose solutions, and develop compelling Business Proposals.
Market Analysis and Product Feedback:
Compile and provide insights to the Product Development department to improve services and develop new features that align with customer demands.
Gather feedback from partners and the market regarding Alternative Data solutions, industry trends, and emerging needs.
Analyze competitors and their business development strategies.
Reporting and Goal Achievement:
Monitor, analyze performance, and report regularly to management on partner development progress and revenue.
Ensure the achievement and surpassing of set business objectives.
Develop business plans, set sales targets, and KPIs for assigned partners.
