Account Payable Accountant

Working Location: HCMC Head Office - District 10

JOB PURPOSES
• To ensure all payments are proceeded on time as due date and comply with internal policies, tax regulations before obtaining signature’s Accountant Manager and Chief Accountant
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Payment
• Receiving, checking and preparing payments carefully for all the payment requests with necessary supporting documents (such as: purchase order/contract, invoice, delivery note, bill of lading, customs declaration…)
• Calculating and post withholding tax as the contract and ensure complied with tax regulations for overseas payments
E-wallets
• Checking reports, commission fee, receivables on daily and monthly to ensure it is correctly and give feedback to partners timely if there is any different
• Receiving and post commission fee invoice to SAP system
• Monthly doing the accrual for commission fee and clear its account on SAP system as schedule
Bank
• Following, collecting and submitting documents: custom declarations, original application… to the bank as requirement on time for manual payments
• Daily sending the update received money list to relevant departments to get information
• Updating bank balance daily and post receivables to SAP system weekly
• Collecting, checking and posting invoice of bank charge into the SAP on time
• Monthly doing bank reconciliations as schedule
• Filling documents properly: payment documents, bank statements, credit/debit advices…
Other tasks
• Performing PIT report of freelancer and send to HR department monthly
• Performing all other support duties as may be required from Accountant Manager or Chief Accountant
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education background
• Graduated from College, University; major in Banking/Finance/Accounting or other related major
Working Experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in Account Payable, Account Receivable
Required Competencies
• Detail oriented
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Verbal and Written English communication skills
Other qualifications
• Able to work under tight time lines with pressure
