A, GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CREATORY&039;ss Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational leadership. Our team is comprised of finance, accounting, corporate strategy & development and tax professionals that support and enhance CREATORY&039;s operating efficiencies.
The position is responsible for a broad range of general accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and internal control development and management. The position requires a strong working knowledge of general accounting principles as well as an understanding of accounting principles specific. This position may supervise one or more staff accountants.
B, MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Revenue and account receivables (40%)
- Liaise with other divisions to find out reasons for the discrepancy between departments’ figures and ours.
- Manage account receivable aging report and cash collection from revenue.
- Plan courses of action to collect outstanding payments.
- Prepare reconciliation minutes and issue payment invoices in accordance with prevailing regulations.
- Perform payments reconciliation: based on contract terms, periodically extract raw data from the internal system, calculate revenue and provide the department with payments reports in order to get their confirmation.
Expenses and account payables (35%)
- Review account payables to ensure payments are timely and accurately processed.
- Verify payment request forms and supporting documents in line with company policies, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
- Solve payment issues and appropriately feedback stakeholders regarding their requests and questions.
Other tasks (25%)
- Perform other tasks required by the direct supervisor.
- File accounting documents properly for audit and tax inspection.
- Be able to work in various accounting and financial aspects for a start-up such as taxation, banking, cash flow management, internal control, and accounting software systems.
- Contribute ideas and actions regarding the establishment and continuous improvement of accounting processes and policies.
C, REQUIREMENTS:
At least three years of hands-on accounting experience as a General Accountant or Tax Accountant in Vietnam
Excellent time and work management skill;
Be able to work individually and as part of a team;
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Detail-oriented, highly focused, open-minded and strong analytical skills
Bachelor&039;s of Accounting/ Finance or higher.
