Accountant Specialist

Main responsibilities
This position is responsible for the daily accounting processes, internal accounting controls, monthly and annual financial reporting, controlling reporting and external audits
For Account Payable (AP) Activities
Reporting directly to the Finance and Accounting Manager, the Accountant is for upholding an area of complete confidentiality and professionalism.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable for suppliers to optimize profit management efficiency on a daily basis
• Process payments to suppliers based on agreed terms, checking details of payment;
• Review and verify payments against supporting documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Monitor and address any discrepancies in system data
• Conduct account reconciliation upon request across various accounts
• Propose and implement improvements within the accounting department to improve operational efficiency.
• Daily check details data of goods and services purchased
For Asset Management
• Foster collaboration with technical and maintenance departments to facilitate timely maintenance and upkeep of assets
• Conduct thorough inventory checks and exercise proper control measures
• Maintain accurate records and oversee management of the company&039;s assets
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding asset management and recording
• Participate in periodic asset inventories and report any discrepancies observed
• Coordinate with other departments to check and control all company assets effectively.
Others
• Provide feedback and actively contribute to enhancing asset management and accounts payable procedures
• Assist the Finance and Accountant Manager in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures; provide timely information and reports as required
• Coordinate and assist in the auditing process
• Any other tasks assigned by the Finance and Accounting Manager.

• A Bachelor&039;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent at analytics, data handling and reporting- CIT, PIT, other accounting reports (if any)
• Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software
• 3+ years of experience in payable accounting, asset management or a relevant accounting role;
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience in a Casino/E- gaming Club/luxury Hospitality services with a commitment to exceptional customer service will be a definite plus
• Detail- oriented, careful, and accurate in tasks along with positive mindset, integrity will be preferred
• Good communication in English
