WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Payment application/reconciliation, payment receiving and recording;
Benefit Audits
Classifying AP requests & distributing
Resolving 1st Level Support Issues AR
Handling Tier 1 Vendor Support
Customer billing, auditing, researching, and collection activities;
Other accounting tasks required by the clients
Team lead responsibilities:
Coordinate with Supervisor and HR to take care newcomers, guide them and make them follow company’s policy and team’s working style;
Assist Line Manager in managing all team members’ performance and non- performance issues and involve HR or BOD when needed.
Collaborate with Line Manager if help is needed with delegating new tasks or trainings to all team members;
Quarterly review and prepare summary of team’s performance and submit to Management team. Assist Line Manager in preparing presentation slides;
Coordinate with the Team Lead, create and send weekly report when Team Lead is out of office and collect any issues from tasks and update issue tracking list;
Conduct weekly team meeting and Team Lead meeting to report overall team performance;
Collaborate with Line Manager or alone to provide immediate solution and action to solve any issue (if possible) when it happens especially at nightshift;
Periodically (monthly or quarterly) identify team members with available bandwidth in order for new tasks can be assigned;
Support Line Manager to oversee day- to- day operation;
Prepare the latest 8- week trail analysis on weekly hours each team member spent on each task (Team Efficiency report).
Monitor closely and make sure the issues tracking list is continuously updated. Weekly report to Line Manager if there are issues caused by the team.
Monitor nightshift performance of sleeping discipline to make sure all team members take turns to break, follow break time policy and alert Manager if red flag issues as well propose the solution accordingly.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a Team Lead (Accounting Service) with excellent communication and team management skills to join our accounting service team. This position must have a sound knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices. This position should have an aptitude for numbers, attention to details and lead by example. They must have a desire to help clients with their accounting process, help the team archive their potential and to spark progress within the organizations we serve.
Qualifications
Must have:
A minimum of 4+ years of General Accounting/ Financial Accounting experience or 2+ years of similar position.
A minimum of 2+ years managing a team.
Bachelor‘s Degree in Accounting/Auditing/Finance or equivalent.
Fluency in English communication (all four skills)
Nice to have:
Experience in an BPO company
Familiarity with US accounting standards.
Professional accounting designation such as CPA, CA, or CMA is a plus.
Microsoft Excel proficiency to include pivot tables, look- up formulas, charts, data breakdown, summary, analysis.
