Job Summary:
The Accounting & Financial Manager will direct and oversee the financial and accounting activities of the company; ensure accounting best practices complied with Vietnam Law; direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees Accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions.
- Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.
Duties:
Accouting Management
- Responsible for accurate closing all assigned books each monthly and yearly for all company accounts.
- To ensure that accounting and tax matters are compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and review accurate profit and loss reports & ensure all submissions are as per required standards.
- Prepare statistics, trade reports, loan reports…to local authorities as per request.
- Follow up loan agreements and ensure interest calculations are recorded and loan payments are made accordingly. Prepare and submit loan dossier as required.
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on monthly basis.
- Overview on inventory management & resolve any issues
- Prepare accounting books according to VAS requirement.
- Lead all matters regards to Vietnam Accounting, Tax & Inventory
- Effectively lead accounting team to timely tasks completions & ensure full adherence to local compliances for all finance / tax / inventory related matters.
- Work with line manager on fixed expense budgeting, analysis and management reports
- Manage & respond to audit requests both internal & external
- Ensure all receivables, receipts, chargebacks and payable items are processed and recorded accurately and timely; monitor collection of receivables and escalate as necessary
- Prepare all tax reports by monthly/quarterly and yearly as required.
- Co- ordinations with local banks & corresponding facilities
- Work with auditor and local authorities as needed.
- Liaising with the Vietnamese Taxation Office and others local officers when required
Financial Management
- Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, sales, cost,…
- Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
- Identifies opportunities for expansion into new areas.
- Responsible for all of Hong Kong Financial management’s reports
- Others task to be assigned by General Manager
- Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets. Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
