Job Description
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a GL Manager to supervise, track, and evaluate day- to- day activities. GL Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our financial management team.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
+ Cash forecasting
+ General ledger
+ Cash receipts
+ Corporate tax activities
+ Accounting system activities
+ Trust account statement reconciliations
+ Payroll and utilities
+ Financial position variance analysis
+ Accounting & Tax business partner
+ Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
+ Check runs
+ Capital assets reconciliations
+ Month and year- end closing process
+ Debt activities
+ Fixed asset activities
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Provide recommendations to improve accounting processes.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits, and tax inspections.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Oversee consolidation group financial statements.
- Oversee chart of account of the whole group.

- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.- - IFRS is preferred
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years experience at the managerial level
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
- Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or related position
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
