Accounting Service Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Service Manager to lead our accounting department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. The Accounting Service Manager will be responsible for managing a team of accountants, overseeing day- to- day accounting operations, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records.
CLIENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT
● Tax Consultancy: Provide advice to clients on a range of tax- related issues including corporate tax, personal tax, VAT, and related parties / transfer pricing regulation.
● Allocate the work to best fulfill the project needs (skills and experience) as well as efficiently use internal resources
● Assist clients in complying with local tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
● Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on various accounting, financial and tax matters;
● Ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business- driven approach
● Conduct financial & tax planning and optimization strategies
● Collaborate with cross- functional teams within the firm to deliver integrated service offerings.
SERVICE TEAM MANAGEMENT
● Track project progress versus plans, monitor budgets.
● Provide guidance & support for the accounting team handling client work during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
● Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
● Helping the technical service team stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients.
● Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the winning of new clients.
● Report to the company BoD
● Manage and oversee a team of accounting and tax professionals: including manage and develop the team, provide supervision, guidance and feedback
● Communicate with clients to align on scope, deliverables, expectations
● Ensure that the processes and control systems mitigate risks resulting from mistakes. Ensure all work complies with the firm&039;s procedures and meets the standards of regulatory bodies.

TECHNICAL & SOFT SKILL
● Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
● Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
● Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
● Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Excellent understanding of IFRS and Vietnam Accounting Principles.
● In- depth knowledge of financial reporting, Vietnamese accounting and tax law and regulations.
EDUCATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:
● Bachelor&039;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master&039;s degree or CPA certification preferred).
● Fluent in Vietnamese and English (spoken, written)
● Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or financial management roles, including supervisory experience, preferably in a similar professional services firm or Big 4
